The color of XMC

LET STRAiGHTEN THINGS UP1. Kita MassComm. Breed tahan telinga. Lu cakap apa lu mahu cakap. Itu sebab ramai budak masscomm berjaya dalam cara jaya yang dia nak. Kalau tak tahan, lu bukan MassComm sejati.

"This is just my idea. I can live with your violent fiery comments."

2. Website ni besar. It depends on contributors and readers. It does not have auto delete program. If you want easy stuff you must contribute easy stuff. You cannot wish easy stuff appears by itself and you cannot blame heavy stuff contributors.

"What attracts people about this site is the diversity of the people and the topics in the forum. There is no restriction of whatever topics you might want to put on the forum.

3. masscommuitm.ning.com is a platform to gather an existing strong bonding community. It is not a new group with new characteristics. We are bonded by masssomm school not masscomm ning. Masscom ning is the place where ex masscomm school meet. We have group initiater but we do not have new father. If at all we have a father it is the School of Mass Comm or any name that goes back to the same origin. We must move on consensus, not arbitrary.

4. We are a group of trained communicators. People are leaving, some been banned, forums are deleted. many without convincing reasons or no reasons at all. If this is a group of communicators, then the school has failed, miserably.

5. If many people end thier posts with " if I am banned after this" then we have a very insecure grouping.

Lets re-asses of who we are and have a standard operating procedure for all to agree

  1. What’s your definition of FREEDOM OF PRESS?

    Kebebasan Bersuara.
    Kebebasan Menulis.
Kebebasan menyampaikan apa yang tersemat di hati.

It’s actually quite a labyrinthine question come to think of it.
Believe in the freedom of press?

I define freedom of press as the freedom for a reporter, journalist, writer, contributor, columnist, forumers or be it bloggers or webmasters to carry out their duties without having to worry about interference from the government, political parties, big brothers, gate handlers, moderators, coordinators or any other parties interested in distorting the news or perhaps, wanting the news to be in favor/s of his/her/theirs unknown motives.

Must we always believe what we read in the mainstream newspapers?
And must we always believe what the bloggers blogs and reaches the entire world?
    Is Harakah report accurate?

The rule of thumb says that as long as it is not writing condemning other religions, races or believe plus vulgar words – there are room for freedom of press.

But it will really fascinates me – what is Freedom of Expression here at this XMC Ning stuff?
Explain the dos & donts so that no one get hurts or felt cheated of the so call Freedom of expression in an unwritten rules.

As one XMC lady told me “ Penat aku buat research tulis panjang-panjang untuk orang faham, tetiba kena delete ! Malas la nak komen lagi ”.

Do not point your finger to blame the suramness of this place to all directions...

Opinions and views are feedbacks from communicators.
Some might be great advice that you never thought of it...
Please open the gate of expression...
